Quick Holiday ornaments – a tutorial – Field Trips in Fiber by Vicki Welsh

Vicki Welsh posted this tutorial for quick holiday ornaments. She uses Misty Fuse fusible and little scraps and tidbits from her studio. As you all know, we all clip corners, trim shiny threads, and this is a great way to use them. If you haven’t seen this tutorial, you must read it. Quick Holiday ornaments – a tutorial – Field Trips in Fiber – Adventures in quilting, hand dyed fabric and fiber art..

And I just have to give a shout-out to WordPress. Images can now be dragged and dropped onto a new post – this is the coolest thing since sliced bread! We all love to use photos and uploading them is tedious. This is so much easier.

My blog is about helping other quilters learn to use great tools in their quilting through what I can teach and through finding other bloggers who have good information. In addition, I am a mother and grandmother. Other hobbies include any other stitchery which makes me happy at the moment. I worked in clinical research for most of my career. I am now retired and enjoying every minute.
