And We Have a Winner. . .And Another Giveaway

The winner of the Candy Hearts Embroidery Set is Sally King from the Baby Steps Quilting blog. Using a random number generator, Sally was chosen from all the entries – and she is the perfect winner because she is so into machine embroidery right now. And I want to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the blog hop. It was a great success thanks to all of you.

But since it’s almost the end of February and all those embroidered candy hearts blocks need a home, that will be the post bog hop giveaway this week. Here are some pictures – I’m sure you remember them. All you have to do is 1) leave a comment here before Friday midnight and 2) either blog about the giveaway or tell your Facebook friends about it, and 3) Follow me on Networked blogs on FB (see the link on the right column of my blog). These blocks will come with precut background fabric to make the very pretty quilt shown below–a quilt that your Valentine will love all year long.

  1. What an adorable quilt! I don’t have a blog, but I mentioned your post to my FB friends… not that any of them quilt 🙁 But who knows, maybe they will be inspired!

  2. Those hearts are very sweet – I’d love to make them into a community quilt for our guild.

  3. Congratulations Sally.

I love those little hearts and the quilt is just adorable. Those would make an adorable little quilt for my 1 week old Granddaughter. Well, other than the puppy love one which would probably be made into a little something for my Granddpuppies. I bet they would love a little placemat type of thing to go underneath their food dishes. That would be super cute.

  4. I thought I had left a comment, but maybe not! I love the blocks you’ve made and they would be perfect in a project I have planned. I don’t do anything with Facebook, though, so that may be why I didn’t leave a comment. I think that rules me out.

  5. Those hearts are so cute! I’d love to win them. My quilting group makes quilts for Native Americans on the reservations in New Mexico. I’m sure one child would love these! Thanks for a great blog!

  6. Marjorie. I’m really enjoying your newsletter/blog and your’ve done a terrific job with it. I’m GOing to save your EQ7 hints/subjects. Thanks for the chance to win!
