Delectable ‘Crystal’ Mountains

I finally finished this one and here are a couple of pictures–will work on a “how-to” video and information sheet this afternoon.

My blog is about helping other quilters learn to use great tools in their quilting through what I can teach and through finding other bloggers who have good information. In addition, I am a mother and grandmother. Other hobbies include any other stitchery which makes me happy at the moment. I worked in clinical research for most of my career. I am now retired and enjoying every minute.

  1. You did a beautiful job on this quilt! Both the piecing and the quilting. I am a new longarmer and you give me hope for my future quilts. I have this pattern and one day I will get to it.

  2. Unfortunate but there is nothing to download for this pattern. I would like it to download. Is just a bunch of jumbled things 🙁

  3. Love, love, love this quilt. Actually found you on youtube and clicked over to here. Then spent a few hours going through all your posts to find this. (Great posts BTW) Anyhoo, maybe I can’t see it but you mentioned in this post that you would on a how to sheet, but I can’t find it on this page. HMMM, is it somewhere obvious and I just am blind? HELP, I would love to make this!

    1. Karen, The instruction sheet is under the tab at the top of the page, “Instructions and Videos”. This is the direct link to that page. I used two battings – one layer of Dream Cotton Request weight and one layer of Hobbs Heirloom 80/20, and the quilting shows beautifully and that quilt has the nicest hand of any I have ever done.
