Catching up with Sampler Blocks

I finally decided to add this blog to Bloglovin so I am posting the link here. Follow my blog with Bloglovin I will create a widget on the sidebar so that the link won’t have to be posted every time.

I spent a lot of yesterday trying to catch up on the Sampler Quilt Along. I think I have 8 blocks now and am pleased with the progress. The pale green background doesn’t show up as pale green in the pics. I think it looks a little yellow – but that’s the nature of digital pictures. The next step is to finish the last four blocks and then decide how to set them into a quilt.

I am updating the pics – I re-took the pics and here are all 8 blocks so far.

In addition, I am a mother and grandmother. Other hobbies include any other stitchery which makes me happy at the moment. I worked in clinical research for most of my career. I am now retired and enjoying every minute.

  1. I love your sampler blocks Marjorie! I wondered if you were having time to make them, with all you do! I’m excited to see what setting you decide to use. I’m still not positive. I almost wish I would have make all 36 of your blocks, so I could use three different settings…lol
Thank you Marjorie for designing Accuquilt patterns, I’ve purchased several, and will have time to start another one, when I complete a few, and also catch up on customer quilts.

    1. Hi Julia, I am late seeing your comment. So glad you are enjoying your quilting. As I only have 9 blocks finished and it’s always better to be done than be perfect, I think I’m going to do a Circle of Nine setting. But we will see. There’s lots going on in my quilting right now, so I’d like to finish it completely.
