Mix & Match Qube Connector Blocks – 2 options

There are two options for piecing the Connector Blocks with the Mix & Match Qube. You can use half square and quarter square triangles or you can use a technique combining two shapes, stitching and then trimming to make a trapezoid. It’s a little less accurate but has been and is still used as an accepted method by quilters.

Please download the instructions and choose the option that works best for you.

These are the diagrams for the two blocks made with the Mix & Match Qube.

My blog is about helping other quilters learn to use great tools in their quilting through what I can teach and through finding other bloggers who have good information. In addition, I am a mother and grandmother. Other hobbies include any other stitchery which makes me happy at the moment. I worked in clinical research for most of my career. I am now retired and enjoying every minute.

  1. I saved the fabric requirements when you posted, but having no luck finding it in my mess. Could you share this info again? Thanks

    1. Hi Brenda, I’m trying to catch up with things. Hope you have found the fabric requirements by now. They are on the QUBE QAL page along with all the instructions. It is the link called Layout and Yardage.

  2. Thank you so much. Yes! I have your emails. I have completed 2 blocks and all but two of the connectors. I’m having so much fun with this and learning so much. I’ll see if I can post a pic.
