The Finish Line – Block 10 – Final Row

This row uses Flying Geese and Squares on Point and you can arrange them any way you like. You can point those geese flying up, down or to either side. And add as many Squares on Point or as few as you like.  And the only thing left after this are the final outer borders. The yardage and cutting instructions from Week 1 give some suggestions for borders, but you may have other ideas. Make this quilt your own. I can’t wait to see your creations.

  1. Thank you, Marjorie! It is nice that the final row ended on a holiday; I hope to finish mine today! I have enjoyed this and intend to pursue more row quilts.

  2. I would like to start this quilt. Where do I get all the blocks? And what’s its name? Beautiful quilt! Thanks.

    1. Hi Anne,
The blocks are on the QAL page. Click the link on the menu at the top of the page for the Pinwheels and Borders QAL. YOu should download all of the instructions now as I will likely remove the instructions in the next month and combine them as a pattern in my web shop. Everyone has made beautiful quilts and I hope you will enjoy it too.

  3. Thanks Marjorie for this pattern. I am behind due to life but plan to get back to it this week. Having fun adding funky colors the quilt. Appreciate your patterns!

  4. Thank you for a great quilt! I was unable to join the QAL but have been following on fb, and will definitely make this quilt later this year.
