Unicorn Finish

It has taken awhile to finish this with a few interruptions like a project to be done for AccuQuilt that can’t be seen until next year. But this turned out beautifully. When I cut this one out, I cut two more unicorns, so will try to get those finished. I think a little girl might like a large unicorn pillow to adorn her bed.

  1. Love this one! The pattern is sitting on my cutting table and I was stalled about how to do an entire quilt. You have inspired me to get it done!

    1. Hi Anne, I think it’s one of those where you just make the first block and then go from there. I couldn’t decide about borders to make it big enough, but ended up doing the simplest thing and I think it looks better than any of the other options I could have done.

    1. Hi Theresa, I shipped it Thursday and it should arrive today. Can’t wait to hear what she thinks. She loves unicorns and has to take a nap at preschool so hopefully this will make her happy.

  2. Oh my goodness, this is so adorable. I love the front and back, as well as your beautiful quilting. Gorgeous and so cheerful.

    1. Hi Darlene, Thank you. I bought the panel that I used on the back when I wasn’t sure I would finish the front. But this way, she will have “two quilts”. LOL.

  3. Thank you for sharing. I have this pattern and love your creativity. Did you just do one block in original size or did you adjust original pattern?

    1. Hi Jean, I did one block in the original size. The pattern has only one size and adjusting it would be very difficult because there are so many pieces in so many different sizes.
